 History of Trousers

Trousers are one of the most common lower-body covers for men and women alike and has been worn since ancient times. Trousers were essentially invented because robes were very uncomfortable to wear especially in wars. The Romans and Greeks initially stayed far away from trousers, stating that they were the attire of barbarians. However, towards the second and third centuries, they began realizing how useful and comfortable wearing trousers could actually be. People started wearing them to keep their legs warm in the harsh weather, and eventually, trousers became a fundamental part of one's clothing.

Parts

Trousers have a few important parts that should be kept in mind while purchasing or even making a pair. First comes the Pleats. Pleats in basic trousers are located just below the waistband on the front of trousers and maybe one, two, three or none at all. Next comes the Cuffs in Men's outlet Trousers. Cuffs are used by trouser makers to prevent the bottom of Men's outlet Trousers from fraying. Then comes the Fly and the Belt. A Fly in  Trousers is the covering over an opening such as a Zipper and a Belt is used to provide support in the Trousers.
